The Integration and Middleware team is responsible for installs, configurations, maintenance, upgrades, hardware migrations, patch management, troubleshooting, repair, performance tuning, incident / problem resolution, as well as monitoring and providing 24×7 support. In addition, the group engages in setup, deploys, security management, capacity management, and will coordinate backup / restore and system recovery activities. It also supports infrastructure architecture, application integration, projects setup and deployments.
This resource will perform, install, upgrade firmware and configure IBM DataPower Appliances, WebSphere/HCL eCommerce on OpenShift. He/she will provide administration and operational support, firmware updates roadmap, troubleshoot, alerts, monitoring and automated recovery, transactions traceability and tracking, issue resolution related to data exchange, data transformations, access, performance and capacity management.
- API Connect, Datapower
- Strong understanding of API Connect, DataPower Architectural Design Patterns, Integrating and Securing Services across Domains, Physical architecture and Installation, Configuration architecture, Enterprise Service Bus, SOA, DataPower Service, Web services and policy management, Protocols – when to use what and protocol conversion, Governance and policies, when to use and when not to use DataPower, or API Connect.
- WebSphere/HCL eCommerce, OpenShift, ICP, Docker, Kubernetes
- Upgraded skills on learning and implementing the Docker Containers, Kubernetes, ICP (IBM Cloud Private) for the first time implemented in the Volkswagen for the critical application, POC (Parts on Command) application Migration.Upgrading skill on OpenShift, technologies and planning to migrate the Parts application form ICP (IBM cloud Private) to OpenShift.
- MQ, IIB:
- Experience in IBM WebSphere MQ, IIB 9.0, ACE 11/12 and its related Systems Administration on Solaris/Linux/Unix environment.
- Strong understanding on IBM MQ Series, IIB architecture and administration, Installation, configuration and maintenance.Knowledge in WebSphere suite, XML, WSDL, Web service (SOAP and HTTP), Message Broker, command line/scripting, SOAP UI tool.
- Hands on experience on WMQ and IIB Installation, Patching & Upgrade activity on Windows, Linux platforms.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot systems problemsExperience in shell scripting is mandatory.
- Monitor application infrastructure for service availability supporting business operations.
- Understanding and working experience of IT Service Management processes such as Incident, Problem and Change.
